Helicopter

Helicopters are fascinating, more and more modellers are discovering this thrilling theme. Flying times of ten minutes and more are now commonplace with acrobatic and 3D flying easily possible. The brushless innrunner drives are supplied with cooling fins integrated into the motor casing and are therefore ideal for use in helicopters. The outrunning-helimotors are available with a cooling fan. In choosing a motor one has to consider certain criteria, for instance during average loads (e.g. hovering flight) revs should reach 70% of the maximum available. We also found that a slight increase in efficiency was achieved by programming the Future speed controller to a frequency of 19 kHz.
